TFT LCD Display Aging Condition Standard

The purpose of aging test for TFT LCD display screen is to check the hidden defects of TFT LCD display screen and prevent unqualified products from flowing to customers and market.

1.Aging test purpose.

To check the hidden defects of TFT LCD display screen.

Eliminate the flow of unqualified products of TFT LCD display screen to customers.

2.Environmental Requirements.

Temperature range: 0 ℃ to 60 ℃ (aging experiment in -20 ℃ to 70 ℃), humidity range: 30% to 90%.

3.Test Stand Commissioning.

Through the professional display test aging board, burn in the test aging program of the display to avoid picture flickering and residual image.

4.High temperature aging.

Divided into early failure period, occasional failure period and wear and tear failure period, the purpose is to shorten the early failure period, early detection of defective products.

5.Electrical Characteristics Testing.

Regularly detect the abnormalities in the aging process of the display screen and record them.

6.Durability test.

Withstand multiple switch-on/switch-off, high and low temperature cycles.

Withstand multiple switching, high and low temperature cycles, humidity cycles and other conditions of use.

7.Safety Test

Ensure that there are no unsafe factors such as overheating, overvoltage and radiation.

Consider the safety of materials, such as fire, electric shock, etc.

8.Aging equipment

Ensure that the aging laboratory equipment is professional and reliable, including temperature control, humidity control and voltage regulation equipment, and regularly check and maintain the aging equipment to ensure its accuracy and stability.

9.Aging time.

Aging time should be adjusted according to specific products and application scenarios, usually 8 to 24 hours, but may be longer. Insufficient aging time may not adequately expose potential problems, while excessive aging time may increase costs.

10.Sampling Methods.

Conducted by sampling from time to time, depending on the situation.

11. Data Recording and Analysis.

During the aging experiment, the data and observations should be recorded in detail. The data should be analyzed to identify potential problems and improvement points.
